How can I add new companies to my group?

You can add new companies to your group a few different ways:

  1. Search our database and add a company from the results
  2. Import your spreadsheet with your list of companies and custom fields into your group on KITE.
  3. Integrate a Typeform to collect company responses.

A company profile (screenshot below) will automatically be created as soon as a new company is added to your group. Here you can see/manage your data and check out the third party data that we add.

I have my list of startups in an Excel spreadsheet. How do I upload this information to my group?

You can import your spreadsheet with your list of companies and custom fields into your group on KITE. From the "ctlr+K" or "cmd+K" Shortcut Menu, select "Import" and then "Flatfile".

How do I set up a form to collect information from startups?

Our Typeform integration is a great way to collect information from startups for your upcoming demo day or for general research. Typeform allows you to fully customize your form, from the question types to the overall look and feel.

Check out the form the KITE team set up (for demo purposes only) as an example.

All companies that submit a response automatically appear in your company list on KITE (see below). View responses directly in your group and use this data to create dashboards, reports, etc.
